Artist Statement

Crimson Harvest creates one of a kind pieces that blend together the macabre and the whimsical. Their work brings new life into what's left behind and discarded. By combining sustainably sourced natural materials with found and repurposed artificial objects, Crimson Harvest explores themes of death, rebirth, and nature. Mediums range from taxidermy, oddity, and botanical display to salvaged collections and collage; resulting in a variety of 2D and 3D assemblages. It is through these assemblages that Crimson Harvest attempts to show lessons of life and nature that cannot be ignored- to find purpose in all things, especially the seemingly unusable.
